Hi My name is Jessica Malcom. I am 14 years old, I live in Macon, Ga. I like to swim, cheerlead, chat online with my peeps, and talk on the phone with guyz and my firends. I go to Central High School....GO CHARGERS!

Central High School and the IB Program
|
As you may already know, I go to Central High School. At central they offer a program called the Internetional Baccalareate program, or the IB prgram, in which I am a part of. The IB program is a very prestige program in which you or your child gets the most out of high school. Students in the IB program are almost garanteed to get into any college that he/she wants to enter into. The thing is that even if you stay in IB the full 4 years you are not guaranteed to get the IB diploma. But if you do any college will accept you...but if you don't a college that doesn't accept you is a fool for passing up a person who graduated from IB because out of the 56 people that are allowed in the program in 9th grade only 16 people on average actually stay in the IB program since their freshman year. So parents, if the school system in your area provide the IB program I HIGHLY suggest that you try to enroll your child, or if you are an 8th grader who's school system offers IB I suggest you talk to your parents about joining because you can only join in the 9th grade.
